Mojave Chamber to hear Stratolaunch flight report
MOJAVE —A report on the historic first flight of the world’s largest airplane will head the Thursday, April 25th Mojave Chamber of Commerce noon meeting agenda.
Scaled Composites, which designed and built the Stratolaunch aircraft, will brief chamber members and guests on the flight and the development of the huge plane, said chamber president Doug Clipperton.
Briefings on plans for the Mojave Library’s maker space program and the county’s RENEWBIZ community improvement program grants will also be presented, Clipperton said.
Chamber members and guests will also hear reports on the chamber’s revitalization program and other community activities.
A no-host buffet lunch will be served beginning at 11:45 a.m. Mojave Chamber of Commerce meetings are open to the public.
The meeting will be held at the Mariah Comfort Inn at 1385 Barstow Highway next to the entrance to the Mojave Air & Space Port.
