|WHO:||Officials from the City of Palmdale, California Department of Water Resources, Palmdale Water District, Antelope Valley East Kern Water District and Los Angeles County Waterworks; representatives from Nickolas Construction and Bowe Construction.|
The project is an $18 million dollar construction of a native habitat park and trails connected by bridges crossing the Amargosa Creek, drainage facilities and major construction/connection to the California Aqueduct. Water will be taken from the Aqueduct and used to recharge the underground aquifer.
