AV Fever Alliance’s First Annual- Valley Fever Walk

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (ID #31954) whose mission is to decrease fugitive dust through translation of scientific research to real world application. We are sponsoring the AV Valley Fever Alliance’s first annual AV Valley Fever Walk. Because valley fever spores are endemic to our soils, it is an appropriate fundraiser for our small business. The event will allow us to share valuable information and raise funds for valley fever research. The first annual walk will be held at Apollo Park in Lancaster, CA from 8:00am until noon on Saturday, August 12th. The event is free, family and pet friendly and open to the public. We will offer educational materials, food, drinks, entertainment, vendors, a raffle, face painting, henna tattoos, and games for the kids.
As a small non-profit organization, our funds are limited. The event will require cash donations to cover costs, and donations of raffle prizes. All proceeds that are left over go toward valley fever research. Would you help us by becoming a vendor or considering a donation of cash or raffle prizes? Not only is your donation tax deductible, but you will be mentioned in our program, as a contributor.

Sponsorship donations in any amount are much appreciated, and we request a $20 donation for each vendor space. Receipts will be provided for tax purposes. Vendors must provide their own pop-up shade tents if so desired, they may distribute materials but may not sell items during the event.
